Project Overview

We developed the thought leadership and media strategy for an influential Washington, DC, military housing advocacy group and its stakeholders.

Project Execution

Our work was a result of a collaborative effort with key congressmen, national advocates, former military servicepeople, and other key stakeholders. Together, we developed a highly successful national media strategy and PR campaign on a two-week notice. We shared never-before-seen photos of the Department of Defense exposing military servicemembers to dangerous and squalid living conditions nationwide (20+ sites). The photos we gave exclusively to NBC News showed mold, mice, roaches, and brown water in living quarters and dining areas at U.S. Military bases.

Project Results

The strategy secured national top tier television coverage and an exclusive story in NBC. We also secure coverage in The New York Post, The Hill, and several key military trade outlets. We secured media stories that were presented to the Department of Defense to invest in our nation's brave service members' military housing.
